This week is NAIDOC week where we acknowledge and celebrate the diverse histories, cultures, achievements and connection to country of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
NAIDOC week is held in July but was delayed this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
This year’s NAIDOC theme is Always Was, Always Will Be, acknowledging First Nations Peoples have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.
The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
