I was pleased to be given a tour of the Turning Point addiction and mental health facilities at Box Hill Hospital and Wellington House today by Eastern Health.
It was great to be able to see first hand the facilities that are there to support people struggling with addiction. I also met some of the staff who run the facilities and some patients currently going through the program.
This kind of addiction program is one of a kind. The only treatment centre in Australia which is doing incredibly important work to ensure those in need don’t fall through the cracks.
