I am pleased to announce the opening of new classrooms, teaching spaces and toilets at Heatherwood School, seeing the completion of stage 2 of Heatherwood School’s master plan.

These upgrades were made possible by a $10 Million grant from the Allan Labor Government as part of its Schools Upgrade Fund.

Heatherwood School is among another 39 specialist schools which have collectively received $388.8 million in funding for upgrades by the Victorian Government.

The next stage in Heatherwood School’s master plan will see further upgrades, and are projected to be completed by mid-2026

This funding will help to improve individualised support for students, mandating evidence-based teaching practices and more mental health support in schools.
